What to do near HF Fénix Music

So much to do nearby

15/04/2025

Here you will find tourist attractions, but also places only included in a few city guides. Considering both, this is the selection we made for you, avoiding obvious places like the extraordinary Parque Eduardo VII and Praça Marquês de Pombal, which you will come across as soon as you arrive at the hotel and whose history you probably know by heart.

And so, to recap, Parque Eduardo VII is the biggest urban park in Lisbon, spanning over a green area of about 25 hectares, surrounded by calçada portuguesa pavement. At the top sits the Estufa Fria and the Estufa Quente, greenhouses that shelter plants, lakes and cacti, as well as tropical birds. There is also a viewpoint of the Lisbon skyline and the scintillating Tagus river. Throughout the year, this place hosts several musical and cultural events like the famous Lisbon Book Fair.

As for Praça Marquês de Pombal, it is the centre of modern Lisbon. It is a homage to the 1st Marquis of Pombal, the man responsible for the city's reconstruction, following the 1755 earthquake. This is the starting point of Avenida da Liberdade.

That being said, you can stroll down the avenue and make a few stops - and we are not only referring to the luxury shops you will find there. With this eclectic and tailor-made guide, we also suggest that you explore other streets around the hotel.
