Lisbon has a mild climate, with about 260 days of sun
every year. The warmest months are July and August, with temperatures that can
reach a maximum of 35/40 °C; the average peak temperature varies between
25 and 28 °C. Autumn and winter are rainy and windy periods, with minimum
temperatures between 8 and 9 °C and maximum temperatures between 14 and
16 °C.

Oporto's climate is mild, with dry and warm summers
and soft and rainy winters. The warmest months are July and August, with

Yes. The hotels have free Wi-Fi internet in every room

No. All indoor spaces of the hotels, including
restaurants, bars and rooms are non-smoking areas. It is only possible to smoke
in outdoor areas.
Are pets allowed?
No. The only pets allowed in our hotels are assistance
animals, such as: guide dogs.
Do the hotels have a gym area available?
We have a small gym area at the HF Ipanema Park and the
HF Ipanema Porto for exclusive use of our guests.
Is it possible to organise an event or meeting in your hotels?
We have a total of 33 meeting rooms available, divided among our Lisbon and Oporto hotels, where you can organise your event or meeting. For more information, check the section Events and meetings of our website.

How to get to the hotels
What are the GPS coordinates to get to your hotels?

Which means of transport are available from the airport to your hotels?
From the airports of Lisbon and Oporto, you can get to one of our hotels by metro, bus, taxi or private transport. For more information, please contact the hotel where you are staying directly.
Do the hotels have their own parking?
Yes, our hotels have private parking with 24-hour
access.The parking prices for the different hotels vary from 15 to 19 euros per day. If you stay at the HF Fénix Music, you can use the HF
Fénix Lisboa parking.
Is it possible to book a spot in the hotel’s parking?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot book a spot in the
parking of any of our hotels.
Check-in/Check-out
What are the check-in and check-out hours?
Check-in can be done from 3.00 pm (local time);
check-out should be done until midday (local time).
Is it possible to check-in earlier than usual?
Normally, check-in can only be done from 3.00 pm.
However, pending availability and payment of an extra rate, you can check-in
earlier between 8.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Is it possible to check-out later than usual?
Normally, check-out is done up to midday. However,
pending availability and payment of an extra rate, you can delay check-out up
to 5.00 pm.
Do you have a place to deposit the luggage after the check-out?
Yes. Our hotels have a dedicated room with restricted
access, where you can deposit your luggage while you wait to check-in or after
checking-out.
Rooms
Is it possible to add extra beds?
It is not possible to add extra beds in any room type of our hotels.
Do the rooms have minibar?
All the rooms at the HF Fénix Lisboa, HF Fénix Urban,
HF Ipanema Park, HF Ipanema Porto and HF Fénix Porto have minibar available. At
the HF Fénix Garden, HF Fénix Music and HF Tuela Porto hotels, minibar is only
available in specific room types.
Do the rooms have microwave?
Only the family rooms (HF Family) have
microwave available. This type of room is available at the following hotels: HF
Ipanema Park, HF Ipanema Porto and HF Fénix Porto.
Do you have hair dryers in the rooms?
Yes, all of our rooms have hair dryers.
Do you have rooms prepared for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes. All of our hotels have specific rooms for guests
with physical impairments. In addition, we have the necessary infrastructure
and a set of complementary means to assist our guests with all their mobility
needs.
Children
Is it possible to book a baby cot?
Yes, the baby cot is subject to
availability and the type of room booked. To ensure its availability, please
contact directly the hotel where you made your reservation. Note: The maximum
capacity of baby cots is 1 per room.
Do you have babysitting services or activities for children?
Every hotel has a babysitting service, which should be
requested in advance.

Are the rates presented per person or per room?
The rates presented in our website are per room/night.
What is the Municipal Tourist Tax? Is it included in the amount of my reservation?
The city tourist tax is a municipal tax, which is not included in the prices indicated nor in the total amount of your reservation, and it applies to guests over 13 years of age. This tax will be charged directly by the hotel to the guest. The tax is charged per person and per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

- In Lisbon, this tax is 4 euros per person.
Are the rates available at www.hfhotels.com always up to date?
Yes. The information available in our website is
updated daily, including the rates amounts and availability of the hotels.
Can I benefit from an online rate if I make my reservation directly with your Reservation Department?
No. To benefit from an online rate, you need to make a
reservation directly through our website.
Is breakfast included in the room’s price?
Breakfast is included in the majority of the rates
available in our website. If you choose a rate without breakfast included, you
can later add that meal to your stay.

Please refer to the confirmation e-mail of

How can I change or cancel my reservation?
For changes or cancellations, you should use the same
medium through which you made your reservation. If you have made your
reservation online, you can change/cancel it in your personal area. If you made your
reservation by e-mail, telephone or fax, please contact directly the
reservation centre of Lisbon (+351 213 716 661) or of Oporto (+351 226 194
100).
If I cancel my reservation, how much will I be charged?
The amount to be charged, if applicable, will depend
on the rate selected. To confirm the deadlines for free cancellation, check the

My reservation has already been charged. Can I still cancel it and recover the reservation amount?
If you wish to cancel your reservation and you are
within the deadlines foreseen for free cancellation, the amount charged will be
refunded.
