Mata beach

Porto de Recreio de Oeiras
Located at the entrance of Lisbon, this marina has been awarded the blue flag for 9 consecutive years. It's a charming place, surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. It's also framed for the Piscina Oceânica de Oeiras (ocean pool), a place where you can take a dip and enjoy the views over the Tagus river and the Atlantic Ocean.
CDS beach
This is considered a typical beach in Costa da Caparica, with light and thin sand, and a blue flag since 2015. It's very popular for the conditions it offers, such as lifeguards, restaurants, a parking lot and bicycle path access, but mainly for its waves, which are considered the best in Costa da Caparica.
Torre beach
With a refined atmosphere, it's mostly visited by families, which promotes a familiar environment. Although it isn't a sandy beach, it has access stairs and ramps, a parking lot and wi-fi. Its restaurants and terraces create authentic balconies over the beach. It has been awarded the blue flag between 2019 and 2023.
São João da Caparica beach
Located in Almada, with 1.5 km of sand, this beach flies the blue flag since 2015. It's currently popular among Lisbon's elite for its tranquillity and restricted access. It has lifeguards, a parking lot and restaurants. Its waves are also popular for surfing and bodyboarding.
