The best parks in Lisbon

Experience nature in the heart of the city

If you're a nature and outdoor activity lover, discover all the green spaces and parks that Lisbon has to offer during your trip.

Reading Time: 5 minutes

If you're a nature lover, discover all the beautiful parks and gardens in Lisbon and all the activities they have to offer. And if you think you can only visit them during the warmer months, you're wrong! Portugal benefits from a Mediterranean climate and is one of the sunniest countries in Europe! Which means that, from January to December, you can enjoy outdoor activities all over the city.

We've rounded up some options, from Parque Eduardo VII, right in front of our hotels in Lisbon, to the city's green lung, Monsanto Forest Park, without forgetting Parque da Bela Vista ? with or without the Rock in Rio music festival. If you?re looking for activities to do with children, a bike ride or a walk just to take a break from the urban routine, check out our suggestions.

Too many wonderful experiences to single one out. Tram ride was fun, boat trip was invigorating, and there were plenty of delightful seafood options along with great Christmas market stalls.

Had very nice trips to Óbidos, Nazaré, Fátima and Belém. Had a chance to taste the famous Pastel de Nata in Belém. Óbidos is a very nice medieval small village that we would like to visit again.
