MAAT - Museum of art, architecture and technology
In the historical area of Belém, MAAT exhibits national and international works from contemporary artists, architects and thinkers. The purpose of the exhibitions is to help people reflect on important and current issues and trends.
Museum of contemporary art - Centro Cultural de Belém
Previously known as Museu Coleção Berardo, this museum reopens as a contemporary art museum, with permanent exhibitions that review artistic genres from the 60s.
National museum of ancient art
Located in Palácio Alvor, this museum has the largest number of paintings, sculptures and decorative art works from the Middle Age to Contemporaneity, from all over Europe, but also from Africa and the East.
National tile museum
Considered one of the most important museums in Portugal, this space has the mission of collecting, preserving, studying and showcasing representative samples of the evolution of ceramic pieces and tiles in Portugal. The tile is considered one of the most distinctive marks of Portuguese culture.
National Coach museum
Inaugurated in 1905, this museum presents an incredible collection of the most beautiful, iconic and older coaches in the worlds history. In this collection, it is possible to see approximately 9000 objects, from cavalry accessories to luxury coaches used in international trips.
Fado museum
As an identifying symbol of Lisbon, the Fado Museum has been praising fado since 1998, through a permanent exhibition where you can get to know its history and the biography of artists that have propelled it. Here, youll find collections gifted by musicians, artists and composers.
Belo-Galsterer gallery

National museum of Natural History and Science

Money museum
Founded in 2016, here you can have an interactive experience and get to know the history of the bank and the importance of money in our lives. During the visit, you can see coins and notes from all over the world and manufacturing products.
